I owned dashboard structure, systems thinking, and component logic in close collaboration with engineering.

Digital transformation and research led design
I joined Leonh when the product had strong domain knowledge but a fragmented interface. Core functionality existed, but workflows and UI structure made it hard for the team to build with confidence.
The core tension was speed versus long-term clarity. As a startup, the team needed to move fast without locking themselves into patterns that wouldn’t scale.
My focus was on defining dashboard structure, key workflows, and component rules that engineering could realistically build on. I pushed for establishing a clear structural direction early, to stabilise future work. I let go of visual refinement, since clarity mattered more than polish at this stage, and deliberately avoided redesigning every screen to protect existing logic and momentum.
After this phase, discussions shifted from “how should this work?” to “what should we build next?”. Design decisions stopped resurfacing, and the team had a shared foundation they could extend without rethinking fundamentals.
